Data Scientist (Fixed Term)

Within our dynamic brand and in a department in constant evolution, we currently recruiting for a Data Scientist (24 months limited contract) :


Mission:

As Data Scientist for Panerai, you will collect, solve and maintain the data science use cases for the global operations scope. You will make an impact on the following processes and responsibilities:


  • Maintain and update our automated demand sensing tools (Python)

  • Collect and solve use cases where data science is adding value and solving a problem

  • Work closely with central IS teams on platforms choices and evolution, access management and data unicity

  • Participate in the choice and integration of new tools

  • Support building Power BI reports, maintaining the portfolio and securing updates of the operations reporting portal

Profile:

  • Are you analytical, autonomous with excellent programming skills and have an appetite for data science?

  • Do you have at least one experience of crunching data and building algorithms to solve business problems?

  • Are you a team player and able to work with cross-functional teams?

  • Do you have a demonstrable fondness for business tools (Excel), visualization tools (Power BI) and programming (Python & SQL)?

  • Do you speak French fluently and have advanced command of English?

  • You have an analytical & business oriented mindset

  • You are autonomous, results-driven, rigorous and proactive

  • You feel at ease in changing and evolving contexts

  • You have strong communication skills and are able to work with multiple stakeholders and teams


Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree (Master) or equivalent

  • Proven previous experience in Data Science

  • Good knowledge of a Supply Chain Processes (S&OP, Demand planning, MRP)

  • Excellent knowledge of Python and SQL

  • Good knowledge of a data visualization tool, ideally Microsoft Power BI and Google Looker

  • Experience With Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery and Vertex AI is a plus

  • Microsoft office expert, especially Excel

  • Fluent French, advanced English, Italian is a plus
